The tough and strong Southampton seat requires minimal maintenance. The 45mm thick hardwood seat slats conform to BS5756 strength class 8, one of the strongest classifications. If left to weather naturally the wood will gradually turn silver grey with no loss of strength. Alternatively to retain the depth of colour a wood stain can be applied every few years.
Fixings are recessed below a hardwood plug to deter vandal access. The seat supports have a tough 6mm exposed aggregate finish and are concreted below ground for extra security.
