SOUTHAMPTON SEAT
The tough and strong Southampton seat with concrete supports requires minimal
maintenance. The 45mm thick hardwood seat slats conform to BS5756
strength class 8, one of the strongest classifications. If left to
weather naturally the wood will gradually turn silver grey with no
loss of strength. To retain the depth of colour a
wood stain can be applied every few years. Alternatively top quality pressure treated softwood can be supplied.
Fixings are recessed below a hardwood plug to deter vandal
access. The seat supports have a tough 6mm exposed aggregate
finish and are concreted below ground for extra security.
