Litter bins are usually placed by the side of paths in order to discourage littering.
All of our general waste bins have a steel liner. This is manufactured from galvanised sheet metal to prevent rust. The steel is particularly vandal proof, being resistant to fire. Drainage holes allow for excess liquid to drain away. A plastic sack can also be used within the liner to easily collect and remove the waste.
The dog bins are made from galvanised steel with no plastic parts. Plastic sacks are required for collecting the dog waste.
STEEL BINS
The most vandal resistant model we offer, The Barent, has an all steel heavy duty construction with openings to deposit litter on two sides. It has a standard triangular key access lock and can be fixed securely to a hard surface by bolts. It also offers a particularly large 120 litre capacity.
A smaller all steel option, The Baltic, is a round open top style. The liner has a lifting handle, drainage holes and a locking point with an optional padlock. The above ground option needs to be bolted to a hard flat surface. The below ground model is more suited to uneven or grassed areas and includes an extended pillar that is concreted into the ground.
Steel bins are powder coated that allows for a choice of colour finishes. Typically, black, dark blue, dark green, grey, burgundy, red, yellow and light green options are available.
TIMBER LITTER BINS
We also have a range of timber clad square, rectangular and round rubbish bins. They look very attractive with timber cladding slats over the shiny galvanised steel liner. The standard sized bins take a normal sized plastic sack and the removable galvanised steel bin liner has a lifting handle, drainage holes and a locking point. Again, a choice of above ground or below ground models are available.
Our most attractive timber litter bin, the Kara, is constructed with superior strength hardwood, including the covered top. Large openings to deposit litter are available on all sides. The liner has lifting handles and a large 100 litre capacity. The door has a stainless steel hinge and triangular lock. Ground fixing brackets are included.
CONCRETE LITTER BINS
The small and large sized rectangular concrete bins have an exposed aggregate finish. A concrete pedestal is set into the ground, ensuring security for this hardwearing option. The metal galvanised liner has drainage holes and a lifting handle.
DOG WASTE BINS
Our Lieutenant dog waste bins are made from galvanised steel with no plastic components that can be burned by vandals. They are powder coated in either red or green with black lids, but others colours are available upon request. A standard sized plastic sack is used within a two lid system - an inner lid for disposing dog waste and an outer lid to remove the plastc sack for easier emptying. They are provided with fixing posts that can either be floor mounted, below ground secured or attached to a wall.
